Marvel's last film, Black Widow, which came out in July, was available not just in cinemas, but on Disney Plus if subscribers were willing to fork over a premium fee of $30 in addition to their subscription cost. For physical disc fans, it's on 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray and DVD on Nov. 12, when it'll also be available for all Disney Plus subscribers at no extra cost. It's available to rent or buy from digital platforms including Apple TV, Prime Video and Vudu starting Nov. Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings was exclusive to theaters for 45 days. He's also been affiliated with the Heroes for Hire but is often simply a lone-wolf character. Shang-Chi was born the son of supervillain Fu Manchu but later opposed his father's ways. The character, a master of unarmed combat, first appeared in Marvel comics in 1973, when the ABC TV drama Kung Fu, starring David Carradine, was popular. 12, followed by the DVD and Blu-ray release on Nov.
Shang-Chi will be available to watch at home on Nov. But the home release dates have now been confirmed for renting or buying Shang-Chi (or streaming it on Disney Plus). Instead of streaming on Disney Plus, Shang-Chi opened only in theaters, and with the delta variant still causing pandemic disruption, that meant some Marvel fans haven't had a chance to see it. Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, Marvel's first-ever Asian-led film, was a box office hit, but things are a bit different than they were with 2021's other MCU movie, Black Widow.
